Upcoming: Haidian Park Weekend Showcase

Still bummed you didn’t get to bum around a park all afternoon last weekend? Still holding out for that next big festival to rock out with those new pair of short shorts? Well, here’s something to hold you over. For the entire month of May, starting this weekend, Guitar China will be teaming up with Haidian Park to give us an entire afternoon and early evening of outdoor music shows. Every Saturday and Sunday starting at 2pm, hit up Haidian Park’s amphitheater where seven bands will get in their licks. Mostly young bands (with one day dedicated to school bands cause why not) but still for a free afternoon of tunes, it’s not all so bad. Perfect excuse to grab some sun and picnic it up. And while I’m itching to catch hardcore outfit Chaos Kills The Pain, it’s really that second weekend of metal and hard rock that has me intrigued. Check out the entire lineup below.
