Ticket Giveaway: STRFKR

LBM is proud to hold it\’s first ever contest. We\’ve got some tickets to give away and it\’s a scorcher. STRFKR (formerly known as Starfucker) is a band that falls directly into my wheelhouse. Bright, eccentric indie electro pop with a lo-fi sensibility and not an ounce of cynicism, the American band, based out of Portland were part of a host of electro pop bands which emerged in the oughts yet never lose their street cred. 2011\’s Reptilians remains one of my favorite albums – an album which shaped my early time here in Beijing. Well, as luck would have it, the band is making the trip overseas for a showcase at Yuogng Yishan, this Sunday, December 13th and we\’ve got three tickets to giveaway.
