Mao Livehouse hosts the third annual Nuclear Resonance Festival, a two-day showcase of some of the cities heaviest. It kicks off on Friday, June 5, with a night devoted to hardcore punk, featuring live sets from Saving Molly, Unregenerate Blood, The Last Resort, Return the Truth, Chaos Kills the Pain, The Reason, 641, and Whisper.
Day 2 (SAT June 6) is a bit more metal-tinged, with performances by The Falling, From the Red, Noise Door, Mary Dolls, Keep Silent, Stabbing, Forced Pose, and Seven Light Years.
