OTS: Scare the Children (Temple 23.07.2015)

Two birthdays in one night – it has come to that. After being serenaded by the lovely Moxizishi at DDC i swing by Temple on my way home to see if anything was a muck. And by jolly, the joint had turned into a freakshow thanks in part to Scare the Children, the latest metal outfit who have given the genre some friggin theatrically for once. Creepy masks (which fit each member perfectly), a dollhouse set out of my worst nightmare, and some of the most abrasive deathcore this side of town.

Gotta love the commitment and vision on display here. Doesn\’t hurt that these are some seriously skilled musicians, some you probably catch quite a bit at Temple sans the nightmarish costumes.
