Volume 7 of Converse Rubber Tracks and School Bar\’s Free Show Series!
On this evening, one of the biggest metal bands in China takes the stage at School Bar – Mega Soul.
Mega Soul was formed in May 2012 after members of different metal bands came together to form this \”super group.\” After a year and a half of songwriting, the band finished their first album and made their debut at the May 2014 Midi Music Festival.
Thereafter in August 2014, Mega Soul launched their first China tour, and over the next 3 months played 41 cities across China. In their return to Beijing for a final stop of the tour in their home of Beijing, they completed sold-out YuGong YiShan and broke the venues ticket sales record for a metal band.
Since that time Mega Soul has continued to play festivals across China, tour, and rack up numerous awards. On February 7, 2015, the band was even invited to play at the Sixth Annual Rock Spring Festival Gala.
