Upcoming: The Twenties/T6 Weekend Release Show (June 3rd/5th)

Nasty Wizard Recordings release their latest lo-fi cassette wonder – a live document of indie rock favorites The Twenties and experimental duo T6 – with a two different releases shows over the first weekend of June. First up, on Friday, June 3^rd, at School Bar, we’ve rounded up a hefty lineup that alongside the blissful indie rock faves The Twenties will include the female fronted post math rock band GriffO, making the trip up from Hangzhou, indie rock ruffians Elenore, and prog rock outfit Electric Lady. Then on June 5^th in the late afternoon at experimental safe haven fRUITYSPACE, the experimental project T6, which consists of local artists thruoutin and Noise666 (aka Ding ChenChen) will showcase their side of the release. The music which is made from found objects such as sheet metal, sticks, and various other objects and are used as percussion instruments that are beaten quietly along to the ambient sounds of the room. They’ll be joined by saxophone madman Wang Ziheng and Sheng Jie (gogoj). Two vastly different shows, two vastly different bands – one kick ass cassette release to add to your collection.
