Upcoming: JUE Market/Closing Night

A little shout out to JUE Festival as they come to a close – the JUE Market, originally planned to unfold during the first weekend of March but then was postponed due to a certain group of people who hate all acts which involve gathering (anyone remember benches?) – well it’s back on this Saturday March 22^nd at Face Bar behind Gongti.

 

It’s a epic daytime/nighttime bash so pace yourself folks. Kicking off at 11am and spilling over after 6pm into a closing party which I’ve been told will involve ‘a chance to thank everyone and get squiffy’ (like every other Saturday evening) the event will feature:

 

-Music Performances  ft. Dirge King, Hutong Yellow Weasels, Jiang Nan

–JUE Partners Showcase Area

-Creative Vendors

-Food & Beverage

-Charitable Silent Auction for The Library Project

-“Shua Ye” JUE Beer – heard it\’s got sweet potatoes (it’s so good they refuse to ship any down to Shanghai)

 

It’s all free folks – these are always a great way to kill a Saturday afternoon and bump in heaps of people you will recognize but are too stuck up to even talk to – Beijing style. I’m more intrigued to check out the music, most importantly the rap antics of Dirge King who will be releasing his debut album tomorrow at Penghao Theater
