Upcoming: Dangerous New Sounds Vol. 1 (Temple 21.04.2016)

\"Danger1

Last year, Temple and Live Beijing Music hooked up each month to present some the scene’s freshest and boldest new sounds to emerge – many bands, including Lonely Leary, The Eat (now Future Orients), and Jajatao, who went on to bigger and brighter futures. It’s now time to jump back on the saddle and continue putting the spotlight on Beijing’s blossoming talent – with our latest series ‘Dangerous New Sounds’ which will debut next Thursday, April 21st at Temple Bar. We’ve got quite the lineup in store. First up, Tag – a band that’s been kicking around two years, popping up on bills about town – giving audiences youth-oriented indie rock goodness that hits the sweet spot. Also on hand will be Comp Collider, the latest project from power couple Dan Lenk (Death Narcissist) and Michael Cupoli (Noise Arcade) – an improv rock duo of guitars and drums that incorporates everything from post rock to krautrock (check out their debut here). Last but not least, up and comers Out to Sea (出海部) a post emo rock outfit made up of Beijing students looking to cut their teeth and who have been referring to me as elder brother. Love it. So head over to Temple next week and support these bands before they hit it big!
