Upcoming: CD Blues Festival

Alright you blues fanatics – it’s that time of year – the 4^th CD Blues Festival kicks off this weekend, July 18-27 at the CD Blues Café on the north end of Ritan Park. Started by ‘China’s first blues star’ Zhang Ling the festival, in its forth carnation, gathers some of the city’s most renowned blues artists as well as top notch talent from aboard for a double weekend bill of rocking performances. The festival will also add an antique weekend fair as well as great food and art. Sounds like a blast – here’s the lineup. Tickets are 120 RMB per day or 300 for a three-day stint.
