OTS: Lonely Leary, Solaris (School 29.01.2015)

It’s a new year and that means it’s time to start scouring our dusty ol’ landscape for new talent. Who’s gonna be the next big thing; the band to champion. One that’ll hopefully push the scene forward, turn it upside down, or heck, just give us a dandy good time. Which brings us to School, where I had the opportunity to catch a glimpse of two very promising bands with very distinct songs and a clear direction – post punk noise rock trio Lonely Leary and psych gazing outfit Solaris.

Have you ever seen so much long hair gents in your life! I don’t know what the singer’s doing with his voice but I’m intrigued. Lush soundscapes, walls of sound, and long haired dudes – I’m all in! Frankly, I want it pushed even further, cause this has ‘epic’ written all over it.
