Xie Yugang 谢玉岗x Yang Haisong 杨海崧 – Blazy 布拉吉
Legendary status musicians Xie Yugang (of Wang Wen) and Yang Haisong (of P.K.14) team up once again for the ambient filled, lyrically potent LP Blazy. Utilizing the top artist’s talents, Yugang’s atmospheric instrumental and ambient work, and Haisong’s spoken-word musings, the two have conjured up quite the mood on their rambling, rich and layered eleven track piece that the two described as: ‘Riddles like monologue from the heart, irreplaceable as the shriveled leaves, brought about the flashing memory of the city past.’

Sound & Fury – Sprout
Long standing Chengdu shoegaze outfit finally get round to releasing their peppy, hook filled debut Spout. A melodically charged lo-fi gem of an album, whose songs never overstay their welcome, it’s undeniably nimble work with big harmonies lurking just below the surface. Airtight sugar-coated shoegaze with just enough pizazz and variety to keep you coming back for more.

Shu Ying 树樱 – Girl’s Girl’s World
Shanghai singer-songwriter, Shu Ying, returns with the snappy, profoundly catchy, emotionally rich LP Girl’s Girl’s World. Recorded last summer in the Netherlands, there’s something so direct and effective about the way Shu Ying arranges the pieces in each of her songs. It’s rock and roll streamlined with a clear ear for what’s makes a chorus pop, and lyrics and more importantly a voice that stings with emotional honesty and pulpy aplomb.
