Berlin Psycho Nurses – Here Comes The Gangster
Changsha post punk outfit look like they’re having a hell of a time evoking the crime flicks of Guy Richtie and Quentin Tarantino with their new single and MV ‘Here Comes The Gangster”. It’s silly in the best possible way as a cast of misfit characters are introduced (with cheeky name cards) and a ‘heist’ is pulled on the boss involving an original copy of the band’s first EP. Expect a debut LP from the band to drop next month.
Run Run Run – Dictated H 引
Speaking of cheeky fun, Beijing psychedelic groovers Run Run Run are back with their newest single – Dictated H – and they’ve got a couple swanky new additions in the form of Xiao Wen (of Birdstriking) on analog synthesizer and Zhao Kai (of Bedstars) on vocals. And what a track – as Zhao Kai’s spews cryptic lyrics like a Robot beatnik and the musicians prance around a deserted construction site.
