That\’s how Belgian singer Lynn Cassiers described her debut album released in March 2013 on the Brussels-based quality label, Ratrecords.
The record, warmly received by the press, contains 11 dreamy short stories built out of nothing but the singers\’ voice and a bunch of toys and objects treated, deformed and reformed by loopers and effects. \’Live On Stage\’ however, the songs you heard on the album come to life in very different forms.
Rooted deeply in improvisation the soundscapes take shape: dark, sweet, crazy- electronic, airy,…marbles, glasses and spacemachines.
