LBM Exclusive: Fake Fuzz Fest (13/12-14/12)

Yeah, we kinda jumped the gun here over here at Live Beijing Music – couldn’t hold back any longer. Just had to get this out before year’s end….

\"FFF

This December, Live Beijing Music presents \’Fake Fuzz Fest\’, a two-day festival combining music, art, food, alcohol, community, and fun. Tons of fun. More fun than Andre The Giant could fit his arms around, and that’s a lot of fun.

Taking place at Beijing’s newly minted DDC on December 13th-14th, 2014 FFF will bring together artists of all types to make merry in the face of the cold winter to come. Whether it\’s food, photography, artwork, or music, we\’ve got it.

First off, the music — we have an extensive list of bands, old and new, making their way to FFF. On day one, we get things rolling in the early evening and get loud as we host Shanghai punk outfit Dirty Finger, trance rock gods WHAI, indie electro rockers Da Bang, runaway garage rock duo Luv Plastik, 8-bit zombie GUIGUISUISUI, and Chinese history meddling new wave rockers Perpetual Motion Machine. Day two, we kick things off early with experimental sets from thruoutin, Feeling of Regret, and Noise Arcade, and Alpine Decline before moving into more melodic territory with The Eat, Me Guan Me, Nakoma, The Harridans, Fuzzy Mood, and an acoustic set from punk veterans Gum Bleed.

Expect food provided by some of the town’s best food joints, including suasuages from the one and only Cuju as well as food from homestyle . Indian startup Parwaaz. Also, a very special brunch deal on Sunday, that’ll include ‘new talk of the town’ Miss Museli to keep you fit. On top of that, we\’ll be sharing exhibits from some of the city\’s most prolific photographers, illustrators, and visual artists.

The entrance fee with come with a compilation cassette tape from new slingers on the block Nasty Wizard Recordings.

Don’t be a fake — get down with the fuzz!
