In Pictures: Stones Throw Anniversary (751 D-Park 07.05.2016)

Had a breezy early May evening and decided to get loose and dirty with my D-List camera over at 751 D-Park (inside 798 district) for some lessons in hip hop by the Stones Throw crew, a iconic West Coast label who just happened to be celebrating twenty years. And they were indeed celebrating will an all star lineup of legends both old and new including label founder Peanut Butter Wolf hitting the decks nice and late, Egyptian Lover, who brought plenty of swagger and command of the crowd, and the gruesome twosome coupling of underground rap discipline Earl Sweatshirt and producer Knxwledge. And while it was a bit difficult to get the wheels turning on audiences in the warehouse venue, the atmosphere eventually turned active, ferocious, and delirious with excitement and praise. And lots of roaming about outside, cause how often to you get to run amuck warehouses and smoke stacks. More pictures below.
