In Pictures: pangbianr 5th Anniversary (XP 10.06.2015)

Fives years and counting – pangbianr continues being a platform for Beijing\’s more off-kilter sounds. And while the web abd booking platform has undergone many changes throughout the past years – the core ingredients remain intact. Tapping into the fringes of the Beijing music scene and giving them an outlet to cut loose, jam aggressively, pull some strings, sneak in some pop tunes amongst the chaos, and present their sound. In typical pangbianr fashion, I present to you this loose collection of moments captured from said evening at none other than XP (RIP) which included \’sets\’ from Xiao Hong & Xiao Xiao Hong, Yang Fan, Shi Lu, Josh Frank, and Chui Wan, and much more.  Kudos Mr. Feola for keeping it weird, keeping it real, and keeping the scene vital.
