Iceage finished off their Asia tour last Friday at DDC and I’ve never seen so many wide-eyed females up front at a rock show before! The Copenhagen punk outfit whose grand, disturbed, cerebral and riotous tunes have made them a voice for a restless generation stuck in a world that becomes more twisted by the day, leaned into their ramshackle rock and roll roots – snarling and crooning through one sweat-soaked anthem after another. There’s an undeniable magnetism to them, and despite the crowd not being as packed as it potentially could have been, the fans (and packs of girls hoping to share an eye glance with the singer) made sure the band felt welcomed.
