Ensemble TURAN

The folklore-ethnographic ensemble “Turan” was organized at the initiative of its members – students of Kazakh National Conservatory named after Kurmangazy in 2008. The basis of the idea of an ensemble was the desire to recreate the sound of old archaic supplies, to find new ways, works and forms in the performance of our moderns. The originality of the collective identity become appeared from the first sounds of songs performed by the ensemble: the shape of their vocal works, the sound of the ensemble of unusual and fascinating especially, because of the fact musicians that are used along with the under spread folk instruments rarely performed, even in professional collectives. Using possibilistic sound amplifying equipment light and musicians to easily and artistically moving across the stage, creating an unforgettable images and pictures of past and present.  Members of the ensemble are winners of numerous competitions and festivals of folk music, members of prestigious concerts, both in our country and abroad: France, Israel, Turkey, Germany, South Korea, USA, Spain, Hungary, Russia, and Uzbekistan.80/100 RMB
