On March the 5th 2016, 69 cafe\’ presents \”An Art Show\” showcasing a colourful array of Art, Music and Poetry.
Take a step inside the homely and relaxed ambience of 69 cafe\’ and allow your visual and audio senses to be satisfied. As you find yourself sitting comfortable on the lounges you\’ll be delighted by the various Artworks on display by 蔻 子 KouZi, 庄怡姗 Atalanta, Shannon Lethbridge and Breeze. At the same time your ears will be soothed with Live Music by Ani, Jordan Darling, Shannon Lethbridge, Scott Mac Arthur, Dan Taylor, Nathan Borofka, The Plum Trees, Electric Badminton and The Felling Tree . In between sets of live music you\’ll be drawn deep into the stories and poems recited by Liz Richards, Matthew Byrne, 阿希 Asch, Tao, Max Berwald, Reese, Liam Kay, Janus , Jenny Tang, Josh Tyah, Steve Chen, Jo Merritt and Lelia.

Musicians
The Plum Trees originate from Australia in 2012 where siblings Shannon and Clancy first started writing songs together in the family home. In 2014 they were both living in China where they met Scott from America and Gabi from Spain. The Plum Trees have a unique folk/Rock/alternative sound with a dynamic range of songs from happy tunes to dramatic hypnotising riffs that will keep you wanting more!
Shannon Lethbridge is a sunny indie-folk goddess from Australia. She is lead on vocals, plays guitar and ukulele in her folk-rock band called \’The Plum Trees\’. Solo she has recently started experimenting with a loop pedal, layering vocals and ukulele to creating rich sounds like that of a celestial choir.
Dan Taylor is a singer/guitarist who is currently playing in and around Beijing. He is the lead singer for the psychedelic rock band the Harridans, plays the drums and sings for the garage rock band Luv Plastik as well as playing in numerous acoustic groups. His solo material draws on Celtic traditional music, mixing classical finger picked guitar with a focus on 70\’s British folk style songs.
Jordan Darling is a pun princess from Florida who will look you in the eyes while plucking at your heartstrings. Emotional, playful, erudite, and genuine, Jordan\’s indie folk originals are half heart, half art, and entirely worth your time.
Nathan Borofka is an American folksinger who projects the grit, heartache, and conversationality of classic 60s and 70s folk a la Bob Dylan through a modern lens with witty rhythms and off-the-wall lyrics. He has been a foot-stamping, string-breaking powerhouse of the Beijing scene for the past three years, playing with a variety of musicians at every venue that will have him.
Poets
阿希(Asch)(1979.10.14- )，A literature apprentice, who found his artistic vocation in writing. That is to say, he thinks he is not capable of living without writing poems,short stories and novels. The first book he published was a children\’s novel which he wrote when he was just a boy himself at the age of 14. His most recent endeavour is finding a publishing house for his second book called \”Inspiration Catcher\”, a poetic story with illustrations.
Max Berwald is a writer from San Diego，California. His fiction has been featured in the Anthill，Loreli China，Shotgun Honey，and will appear in the forthcoming issue of Blackbird. His nonfiction has appeared on Aweh.tv，Be Young & Shut Up，and in et al. Magazine.
