Live Beijing Music gets down and dirty at Beijing’s rock and roll HQ, School Bar, for a righteous evening of underground rock featuring some of the scene’s fiercest contenders. Hebei indie rock outfit Dreamki, out of Handan, is the guests of honor and their brand of electro rock anthems and indie charm will have you bopping your head. If that wasn’t enough, we’ve got hardened post punk veterans Streets Kill Strange Animals, whose future shock dystopian rock has made them one of the city’s best-kept secrets. Also on the bill, hardcore punk outfit Laisee, whose unhinged spirited performances have made them one of the year’s hottest acts and Baxian Chophouse, the female fronted indie grunge group, who have confidently risen through the rock and roll ranks in just one year’s time. 4 bands ready to unleash upon School Bar and leave your ears ringing in glee.

Indie rock outfit out of Handan, Hubei. Their brand of electronically charged indie rock charm has been slowly putting the band on the rock map since their incarnation in 2008.

Streets Kill Strange Animals (街道杀死奇怪的动物)

Veteran post punk future shockers have been kicking up a show on the Beijing music scene since 2008. Dystopian rhythmic rock and roll that rolls to its own beat. Ragged edges, tight turns, and offbeat lyrics keep SKSA one of Beijing’s most consistently interesting bands.

街道杀死奇怪的动物成立于2008年，2011年底签约摩登天空，2012年发行首张专辑《B计划：回到模拟时代》。2013年与黑胶厂牌根茎唱片合作发行7寸黑胶单曲唱片《THROUGH》。

在他们的现场，你会发现置身于一种难以言表的音乐空间，尽管只有简单的三大件，但吉他噪音墙和捉摸不定的编曲走向让街道杀死奇怪的动物的音乐显得异常丰富，同时他们现场有着异于外表的激情和冲劲。

Laisee (利事乐队)

LaiSee was founded in the end of 2013, and have grown only sicne then. The hard-core group of four, with a female drummer dabs in freestyle hard core, which incorporates punk, emo, rap rap and other elements. Songs with a infectious energy that pulls you in, and a live performance so electrfied – Laisee have become one of 2016’s most sought bands.

利事乐队（LaiSee）成立于 2013 年底，成长速度之快实属罕见，毫不夸张的说，利事是目前国内最具特点的女鼓手四人硬核团体，没有之一。整体音乐风格为自由式硬核，其中融入了 punk、emo、饶舌说唱等元素。极具个性的多元化曲风使他们有别于现在国内众多以模仿国外曲风为主的核类乐队和其他极端摇滚乐队，偏说唱式的唱法及正能量的歌词，让他们的歌曲充满极强的感染力，受众范围极广。

Baxian Chophouse (八仙饭店)

Baxian Fandian (formerly Sleep Paralysis) are a young band from Beijing who have slowly but steadily been making waves in the underground over the past year or so. Make no mistake, this is a band still very much on its way to crafting their own sound, but what they’ve got already has turned many a head. They’ve dutifully done their time, grafting and working their way up in Beijing’s rock clubs such as MAO, School, and Temple with their grimy ‘grunge revival’ sound with a feminine touch thanks to Wang Fan, their front woman.
