It only took one year, but Dusk Dawn Club (DDC) has become one of the music scene’s most beloved venues, snagging up awards left and right, and providing an outlet for musicians and music lovers to get down and dirty. It’s classy without being pretentious, it’s shaggy without being debauched – it’s the best of both worlds, whose owner, 69, is a true blood music lover. There’s a respect for the music scene of its every facets, and it shows. Well, DDC is turning one this year and they’re throwing down allllll week with an all star lineup of rock, folk, pop, and more leading into a Saturday afternoon/evening ‘carnival’ which will include a special photo exhibition, kicking off at 3pm, of 69’s stellar concert photography. Super excited to finally check out Moxizishi and Push, as well as the return of the ever awesome Li Dong – but really every night offers a bit of something for everyone so pay your respects and toast DDC for a bitchin first year.
